
Senior Sourcing Manager - Direct Procurement

- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for packaging and ingredient categories aligned with business objectives.
- Lead supplier selection, contract negotiations and performance management.
- Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Operations and Finance to support new product development and cost optimization initiatives.
- Monitor market trends, commodity pricing and supply risks to proactively manage sourcing decisions.
- Drive continuous improvement in cost, quality, service and sustainability across the supply base.
- Manage supplier relationships, including quarterly business reviews and score carding.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements and ethical sourcing standards.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and reporting activities related to direct materials spend.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Food Science or related field (MBA or CPSM preferred).
- 7+ years of sourcing or procurement experience, with a focus on direct materials (packaging and/or ingredients).
- Strong negotiation, analytical and project management skills.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing complex supplier relationships.
- Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and procurement tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in the food & beverage, CPG or manufacturing industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with sustainability initiatives and responsible sourcing practices.
- Understanding of global supply markets and logistics.

- Compensation range: $124,875 - $187,313 (individual wage based on previous experience, knowledge and skills)
