As a Senior Analyst, Sales Operations part of the Commercial Sales Operations (CSO) team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the efficiency and effectiveness of the Sales organization. This position involves analyzing sales data and developing sales processes and tools, while providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making. Success in this role will be derived from strong analytical skills, proficiency in sales tools, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments. Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented, critical thinkers who utilize their intellectual curiosity to solve complex business problems.This is a highly visible role where leading by example is necessary to drive change and make a positive impact on project and business outcomes.Essential Functions & Requirements:
- Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times
- Proactively measures sales data and customer trends that allow the business to evaluate opportunities for growth and areas for improvement
- Develops and maintains accurate sales performance reports; partners with business to frequently measure Sales team performance
- Creates and manages sales performance dashboards, scorecards, and KPIs that support the Sales team's performance
- Manages and maintains accurate sales territory/customer assignments; develops new sales operations processes as needed
- Partners cross-functionally with the Commercial team to ensure overall alignment with business objectives and financial targets
- Utilizes effective communication to provide training and support to Sales team on tools and processes
- Leads and manages projects related to Sales operations and strategy
- Assists with sales forecasting and planning to support goal setting and strategic initiatives
- Stays updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in commercial sales operations and analysis techniques
- Mentors junior analysts, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance
- Maintains ability to travel up to 10%
- Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, statistics or related field (required)
- 5+ years of related experience in sales, sales operations, or sales / financial planning, preferably in a corporate environment (required)
- Experience with and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Salesforce, PowerBI or similar tools (required)
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to a wide variety of stakeholders
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated orientation with a proactive approach and the ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a team
- Regular and predictable attendance to perform the functions and requirements of this role
