As a Senior DevOps Engineer you’ll be able to come in and proactively lead establishing DevOps frameworks for the team and be a part of building something from the ground up!We’re looking for someone to join the team onsite in Westbrook Maine or be fully remote!So, what does this team do? We are a payments team undergoing design and construction to ensure secure and reliable payments processing and user experience integration within IDEXX applications. We are starting an innovative project targeting three key aspects of payments processing: an implementation application, a robust payment processing engine, and the development of a user-friendly interface to be integrated into IDEXX applications. Joining the payments team provides a distinctive chance to contribute to a newly established team and the delivery of a payments platform that promises lasting value to IDEXX, our numerous veterinary practices, corporate accounts, and pet owners.As a member of the payments team, you'll engage in every facet of the software delivery lifecycle, spanning design, story writing, building, and testing. Collaborating within a dedicated software delivery team, our primary focus is on prioritizing quality to facilitate the secure and reliable expansion of our payments business.Within IDEXX, this team is part of the IDEXX Veterinary Software portfolio. All at their fingertips.Our journey is solving veterinary practices’ most pressing needs by focusing on innovation to drive meaningful improvements in animal health.A bit more about the role:You will work collaboratively to research, design, implement, deploy, and operate systems.Oversees code releases and improves planning of test and deployment.Automate software deployment processes by developing tools and releasing incremental updates.Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments and processes. Coordinate and collaborate to increase effectiveness.Support multiple platforms. Handle issues, providing guidance and recommendations to increase efficiency and reduce incidents.
