- Create dashboards and reports to calculate key supply chain metrics (Re-order Points, Fill Rates), help stores order, avoid stock-outs, and maintain inventory turns.
- Drive inventory reconciliation process to identify risk, manage obsolescence, and correct errors impacting product movement
- Partner with the Product team to plan, and prepare future resources needed to meet forecasted demand across retail and e-commerce
- Develop exit strategies for unproductive stock by analyzing sales and Distribution Center (DC) inventory levels to reduce carrying costs and facilitate inventory turn
- Serve as WMS Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support day-to-day operations and omnichannel projects—brick and mortar and e-commerce.
- Research and map existing supply chain processes and evaluate future processes, techniques and best practices
- Work with Logistics Head to research, analyze, and recommend new DCs (location and capacity) based on workforce availability and transportation costs.
- Determine DC layout to maximize space utilization, allowing for temperature constraints of certain Italian products (e.g. panettone
- Establish and define vendor routing guide, logistics procedures, carrier’s service level agreement, and SOPs.
- Monitor inbound Advanced Shipment Notification (ASN) messaging to ensure timely and accurate visibility of transit in Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Review and update international supply chain practices in accordance with new or changing environmental policies, standards, regulations, laws and business development.
- Plan and implement supply chain optimization projects (e.g. warehouse-slotting, route planning)
- Regularly analyzes supply chain data to ensure key performance indicators are met in order to evaluate and develop current or new processes, procedures and corrective actions
- Works in collaboration with Management to support and drive supply chain initiatives through data analyses and technology enablement
- Analyze and select transportation routes to maximize economy by shipment consolidation, consolidating warehousing and distribution, and supply chain collaboration
- Implement and oversee cycle count program to reduce inventory discrepancy.
- Develop logistics plans, daily transportation decisions and routings to enhance distribution of goods to achieve in-store targets, sales goals, and customer service objectives.
- Research, recommend, and implement new and improved routing of freight to reduce transit times and cut costs.
- 2+ years of experience in logistcs
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Ability to work efficiently and with precision, especially with numbers
- Outstanding organizational, multitasking and time management skills
