Seeking a Project Engineer with structural engineering experience in the telecom sector to lead the design and delivery of structural systems for a wide range of telecommunications infrastructure projects. This role combines technical expertise with client-facing and leadership responsibilities, offering a dynamic mix of office and field work.Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design of structural elements for telecom-related projects.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and contractors, ensuring alignment throughout project lifecycles.
- Manage and mentor junior engineers, promoting technical excellence and professional development.
- Perform design calculations, conduct site inspections, and review technical documents to ensure compliance with codes and standards.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality results within schedule and budget constraints.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or related field).
- 5–15 years of structural engineering experience, with at least 5 years in the telecom industry.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Proficient in TNX Tower, RISA, design spreadsheets, and other relevant tools.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and lead technical teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong technical communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interpret and apply jurisdiction-specific codes and standards.
- Self-starter with a growth mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated project management and client relationship experience.
