- Leverage your familiarity with US Government acquisition guidelines (FAR/DFARS) and compliance requirements to develop acquisition and contract execution strategies applicable for US and international government customers
- Establish Risk Management Framework for KGS
- Develop and use deep industry background that enables you to engage and communicate effectively on a wide range of technical and business discussions with customers, partners, and internal Kuiper team members.
- Leverage your expertise and judgment to work through and document strategy for KGS risk management and compliance, including relevant stakeholders.
- Identify and assess risks associated with government contracts and implement a continuous risk monitoring process
- Identify and clear blockers with the right resources, escalating when appropriate
- Demonstrate leadership and ability to navigate through complex problems, weighing various priorities and options, and managing multiple options and constraints
- Communicate clearly and effectively to peers and leadership on the risk management plans, status, and critical issues
- Foster a constructive dialogue, harmonize discordant views, and lead the resolution of contentious issues
- Drive adoption of best practices for operational excellence
- Accelerate progress by creating or optimizing multiple cross-team procedures to help KGS business scale
- 6+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience
- 6 + years experience developing and implementing of standards, policies and programs or equivalentPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Master's degree or equivalent
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
- Experience building cross-functional partnerships and influencing stakeholders across the organization to act without having a direct reporting relationship

The base pay for this position ranges from $109,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
