- Licensure/Certifications:
- Active New York CNA certification.
- Proof of Hepatitis B immunity (required).
- Experience:1+ year of experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in assisting with ADLs (activities of daily living), infection control, and vital sign monitoring.
- Soft Skills: Compassion, reliability, strong communication, and ability to work in a team.
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ health or behavior to nursing staff.
- Support meal preparation, feeding, and hydration as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents.
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Adhere to facility protocols and regulatory standards.
