We are looking for a UX-focused Frontend Developer (Contract) with deep expertise in React to help design and build intuitive, performant, and user-centric interfaces for observability platforms. This engineer will work closely with backend developers, designers, and SREs to translate complex workflows into modern, self-service web applications.Key Responsibilities:
  • Build responsive and interactive React based frontends using modern frameworks (Hooks, Context API, lifecycle/state management)
  • Translate wireframes and UX concepts into production-quality UIs using tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
  • Implement reusable components and design systems using Storybook, Material UI, or equivalent libraries
  • Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services built in Java/Python
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with design, platform, and SRE teams to prototype and iterate on user workflows
  • Support UI testing, accessibility, and performance tuning as part of the delivery process
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of frontend development experience with strong emphasis on React
  • Angular experience is a plus. This is a migration project from a current application built in Angular.
  • Hands-on experience with component libraries/design systems (e.g., Storybook, Material UI)
  • Ability to translate UX concepts into working web interfaces using design tools
  • Strong understanding of REST API integration and frontend-backend communication
  • Experience working in agile and cross-functional teams
Bonus Skills:
  • Familiarity with SRE concepts such as observability dashboards, service health indicators, or automation tooling
  • Experience designing UI for internal platforms or operational tools
