- Effectively build and foster commercial business relationships that strengthen the community relationships of business owners and the Credit Union. Originate commercial lending through the interview process for loan requests and ensure the request follows MBL Guidelines.
- Reviews and evaluates information on commercial loan participation opportunities and internally sourced potential opportunities. Create and maintain commercial/business policies and procedures. Works with internal staff to develop internally sourced business opportunities.E10%Pursue business relationships and work closely with key business contacts to grow membership and increase revenue. Seek and source community partnerships to strengthen our brand in the communities we serve. Develops and maintains relationships throughout the business community by attending various business gatherings and identifying groups and individuals to market and promote business services.
- Coach and develop the Regional Business Development Manager to help facilitate commercial loans, deposits, and maintain relationships.
- As a backup to the Commercial Member Specialist, process commercial loans including ordering appraisals, title work, recording of mortgages and assignment of rents, working with CUSOs for underwriting, and preparation of closing documents. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
