SCIS Unarmed Security Officers are responsible for controlling access, foot and/or vehicle patrols and preserving order at the client’s site. They maintain quick and controlled responses to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threats, flooding, hazardous materials, etc. Qualified candidates must be a U.S. citizen, 18 years of age, and have a high school diploma/GED. An active secret clearance is also required.

Job Requirements:
  • Maintain high security levels and security procedures at all times
  • Made in the security logbook as well as in the officer's own notebook
  • Respond to security alarms and emergency situations
  • Respond to emergency situations when security officers are
  • Fulfil security requirements on site
  • Establish security presence and reports all unusual situations and suspicious persons
  • Assure the security of property through inspection of facility security systems
  • Manage security incidents and hazards
  • Provide security for buildings and property
  • Create security concerns or safety hazards
  • Fulfill the duties of a security officer and/or security dispatcher and other duties
  • Supporting internal customers with security
  • Serve as the senior security officer on duty
  • Affecting the security of property
  • Provide emergency response to security/fire alarms at off-site facilities
  • Investigate suspicious activity or persons
  • Prepare security documentation Management of security related systems and controls
  • Patrolling property to ensure safety and security
  • Perform many essential functions at the client's location
  • Create security concerns or safety hazards
