CNC Machinist / Programmer

• Set up, adjust, and operate CNC machines (3, 4, and 5 Axis) to perform precision machining operations.
• Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, and materials onto machines.
• Monitor machine feeds and speeds during machining to ensure accuracy.
• Measure, examine, and test completed parts using precision instruments (micrometers, calipers, etc.) to verify conformance to specifications.
• Document work performed through required paperwork and records.
• Perform minor mechanical and assembly tasks as needed.
• Share expertise and provide guidance to peers within the machine shop.
• Maintain safety standards and protect machines from potential damage.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures consistently.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Minimum of 5 years of machining experience with advanced knowledge of machining operations and tolerances
• Strong understanding of basic math and geometric tolerances
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering plans, and work instructions
• Forklift and crane operation skills (with ability to safely operate equipment)
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Preferred: 15+ years CNC machining experience, MasterCam knowledge, GD&T and CMM inspection methods
• Preferred: Familiarity with SPC, Lean Manufacturing, and process improvement practices
