With 35+ years in business, a team of 55 employees and 50 subcontractors, this debt-free and profitable company specializes in roofing, sheet metal, and guttering services. The role is ideal for an experienced leader with a background in construction, remodeling, HVAC, or home improvement.Position Overview:This individual will work closely with the owner to manage production, sales, and office departments, streamline operations, and build high-performing teams. Roofing experience is a plus, but not required.Key Responsibilities:Operations Management- Lead daily operations across production, sales, and office.- Support 2 Production Managers, 2 Sales Managers, and 1 Office Manager.- Oversee 55 employees and 50 subcontractors to ensure productivity, safety, and quality.- Improve systems, reduce costs, and enhance workflow efficiency.- Monitor production schedules, inventory, and budgets in coordination with accounting.- Ensure jobs are completed on time, on budget, and meet quality standards.Sales Strategy- Collaborate with Sales Managers to maintain lead flow and pipeline health.- Ensure consistent execution of sales processes.- Analyze sales data and support performance improvement.- Process Improvement & Technology- Improve communication and systems across departments.- Support adoption of tools that improve efficiency (QuickBooks experience preferred).- Define and enforce clear processes and performance metrics.Team Leadership- Promote a positive company culture aligned with core values.- Mentor department heads and foster employee development.- Support retention through coaching, recognition, and resources.Financial Oversight- Partner with ownership and accounting to manage budgets and track financial performance.- Recommend operational improvements that impact profitability.Qualifications:- 5+ years in a leadership role within construction, HVAC, remodeling, or a similar industry.- Proven experience managing both employees and subcontractors.- Strong knowledge of operations, project management, and process optimization.- Familiarity with sales processes and team collaboration.- Comfortable with QuickBooks, project management software, and general tech tools.- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.- Construction site knowledge and understanding of job-site safety and quality.- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.Compensation & Benefits:- Base Salary: $200,000- Bonus Potential: $50,000-$125,000 annuallyBenefits:- 401(k) with company match- Health insurance- Paid vacation and holidays- Company vehicleStability: No concerns of layoffs; strong growth outlookLocation: Tulsa, OK area; local candidates preferred, relocation consideredWhy Apply?This is a rare opportunity to join a successful, well-established company where your leadership will directly impact the future.
