The Superintendent oversees all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining high quality standards.This role involves coordinating subcontractors, managing daily operations, and serving as the primary point of contact for field execution with a strong emphasis on leadership and communication.Project Site OversightLead all on-site construction activities from groundbreaking through final completion.Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, schedules, and safety standards.Scheduling & CoordinationDevelop and manage short-term schedules and look-ahead plans.Coordinate daily activities of subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to keep the project on track.Quality ControlInspect work regularly to ensure adherence to quality standards and design intent.Resolve construction issues and maintain documentation for inspections and approvals.Safety ManagementEnforce site safety plans and conduct regular safety meetings.Promote a culture of safety and ensure all OSHA and company policies are followed.Communication & LeadershipServe as the primary liaison between field operations and project management.Lead site meetings, provide daily reports, and keep stakeholders informed of progress or delays.Resource & Equipment ManagementMonitor use of labor, equipment, and materials to optimize productivity.Anticipate needs and resolve potential bottlenecks before they impact the schedule.Problem Solving & Decision MakingAddress unexpected challenges in real time with practical, cost-effective solutions.Make timely decisions that support project goals and team performance.Closeout & TurnoverEnsure punch lists are completed and final inspections passed.Support project closeout procedures including documentation and client walk-throughs.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
