- Start with Training: Learn about curtainwall design concepts, company operations, and tools like Revit and AutoCAD.
- Dive Into Structural Engineering: Explore façade loading requirements, building movements, anchorage design, industry standards, and key calculations such as allowable stress, member moment, and deflection evaluation.
- Learn by Doing: Progress through weekly topics, building skills in both software and structural analysis, then apply them to real-world project work.
- Work with Experts: Join project and department meetings to see how engineering decisions shape major construction projects.
- Contribute to a Project: By the end of the internship, apply your knowledge directly on a live project under the guidance of a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.).
- Hands-on experience in structural analysis and curtainwall system design.
- Exposure to industry-leading software and design processes.

- A pathway to future opportunities: top interns may be offered part-time roles during school or full-time positions after graduation.
- Current enrollment in a Civil or Structural Engineering program.
- I.T. certification or scheduled to take the F.E. exam.
- Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings/blueprints.
- Familiarity with (or willingness to learn) CAD, structural analysis software, spreadsheets, and technical communication tools.
- Curiosity, collaboration, and a drive to learn.
- Location: Enclos Corporate Office, 3500 American Blvd W, Bloomington, MN
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, between 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
- Duration: 10–12 weeks in Summer 2026
- Compensation: Paid internship, with potential to transition into a permanent role after graduation.
