When you join Enclos, you don't just work on buildings - you help shape landmarks.What You'll Experience
  • Start with Training: Learn about curtainwall design concepts, company operations, and tools like Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Dive Into Structural Engineering: Explore façade loading requirements, building movements, anchorage design, industry standards, and key calculations such as allowable stress, member moment, and deflection evaluation.
  • Learn by Doing: Progress through weekly topics, building skills in both software and structural analysis, then apply them to real-world project work.
  • Work with Experts: Join project and department meetings to see how engineering decisions shape major construction projects.
  • Contribute to a Project: By the end of the internship, apply your knowledge directly on a live project under the guidance of a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.).

What We're Looking For
  • Current enrollment in a Civil or Structural Engineering program.
  • I.T. certification or scheduled to take the F.E. exam.
  • Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings/blueprints.
  • Familiarity with (or willingness to learn) CAD, structural analysis software, spreadsheets, and technical communication tools.
  • Curiosity, collaboration, and a drive to learn.
Program Details
  • Location: Enclos Corporate Office, 3500 American Blvd W, Bloomington, MN
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, between 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
  • Duration: 10–12 weeks in Summer 2026
  • Compensation: Paid internship, with potential to transition into a permanent role after graduation.
