
NCDR Abstractor (PRN)

- Review and abstract cardiovascular registry data from medical records.
- Ensure compliance with national quality care processes and clinical outcomes.
- Document and report data for multiple registries, including Cath PCI, PVI, STS/ACC TVT, ACTION, ICD, IMPACT, and LAAO.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding data collection and reporting.
- Maintain accuracy and timeliness to meet client deadlines.
- Stay current with coding and abstraction rules, manuals, and guidelines.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (RN/BSN) or other healthcare program.
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
- Proven experience in clinical data abstraction or healthcare information management.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and related software.
- Strong computer literacy, including Excel, web browsers, and web-based applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Ability to work independently and reliably in a remote environment.
- Motivation to maintain and update professional skillset and credentials.
- Prior experience in the role or similar healthcare data abstraction positions is preferred.
- Willingness to complete background and drug screenings; may require COVID-19 vaccination.
- PRN schedule (minimum 10–20+ hours per week).
- Fully remote work with reliable internet.
