
Senior Water Resources Engineer

- Lead and mentor design staff on a variety of projects.
- Provide technical guidance in water resources and stormwater management design.
- Conduct flood studies, culvert design, and bridge hydraulics.
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling using software such as HEC-RAS.
- Engage in marketing and business development activities.
- Develop strategies to win new projects and contribute to sector growth.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant post-education experience in Water Resource Engineering.
- Professional Engineer license.
- Experience in Microstation/Geopak/OpenRoads and/or Civil 3D.
- Proficiency in CAD platforms and stormwater/hydraulic design software.
- Experience with land disturbance permits and stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPP).
- Ability to design complex open and closed storm drainage systems.
- Experience with VDOT, municipal markets in Virginia, or USACOE/NAVFAC/Department of Defense.
- Membership in professional societies such as ASCE, ACEC, or AWRA is preferred.
- Proficient in communicating with diverse audiences.
