Shift: DaySummaryIn search of a skilled and passionate Production Planner with exceptional communication and organizational abilities. Join a dynamic team to manage R&D and production contracts, ensuring technical precision, financial prudence, and client contentment.Essential FunctionsDraft and manage purchase requisitions to control material flow for production.Facilitate dialogue between various departments and stakeholders.Provide updates on work-in-progress, material availability, and potential production challenges.Coordinate material supply and demand according to production schedules.Work closely with different teams to schedule part movement effectively.Collaborate with Quality and suppliers to handle non-conforming materials.Engage with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and quality standards.Identify and address project issues efficiently.Maintain a detailed understanding of project documentation.Support proposal and pricing activities.Oversee material logistics and vendor relationships.Contribute to process enhancement initiatives.Supervisory ResponsibilityThis role does not involve direct supervision.Work EnvironmentProfessional office setting utilizing standard equipment such as laptops and photocopiers.Physical DemandsMay require close vision and occasional lifting of files and use of a stool.
