Reports to: COO/VP of OperationsLocation: Onsite in Sonoma CountyPosition OverviewWe are a fast-growing technology company seeking a strategic Operations Manager to coordinate and optimize business operations across our organization. This role focuses on cross-functional collaboration, process improvement, and operational efficiency to support our company's growth and strategic objectives. The successful candidate will serve as a key liaison between departments, streamline workflows, and drive operational excellence throughout the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesCross-Functional Coordination
  • Coordinate operations across multiple departments including Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, and Supply Chain
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between teams to ensure alignment on company objectives
  • Manage cross-departmental projects and initiatives from conception through implementation
  • Serve as primary point of contact for operational escalations and issue resolution
Process Optimization & Management
  • Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and efficiency
  • Lead process mapping initiatives and workflow optimization projects
  • Monitor key operational metrics and KPIs to track performance and identify trends
Project Management & Strategic Initiatives
  • Oversee strategic business initiatives and ensure timely execution of company objectives
  • Coordinate new product launches, system implementations, and organizational changes
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables across multiple concurrent initiatives
  • Prepare executive-level reports on operational performance and project status
Systems & Technology Coordination
  • Collaborate with IT teams on system integrations, upgrades, and technology implementations
  • Oversee ERP system optimization and business process automation initiatives
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy across operational systems
  • Support digital transformation efforts and technology adoption across the organization
Vendor & Partner Management
  • Manage relationships with key vendors, suppliers, and external partners
  • Coordinate procurement processes and contract negotiations in collaboration with relevant departments
  • Oversee vendor performance monitoring and relationship optimization
  • Ensure compliance with vendor agreements and service level requirements
Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure operational compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and legal requirements
  • Develop and maintain risk assessment processes and mitigation strategies
  • Coordinate audit preparations and compliance reporting
  • Implement internal controls and governance frameworks
Required QualificationsEducation & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive operations experience in high-tech or technology-focused environments
  • Proven experience in cross-functional coordination and project management
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies and business optimization
Technical Skills
  • Strong proficiency with ERP systems, project management tools, and business intelligence platforms
  • Experience with process mapping software and workflow optimization tools
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with business process automation and digital transformation concepts

  • Background in SaaS, software development, or technology product companies
