WBS, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking an Intern - Treasury in our Milwaukee, Wisconsin location. This internship is full-time during the Summer of 2026 with the potential to work part-time during the academic year. The hourly rate for this internship is $20.30 with paid company holidays. WEC Energy Group offers a variety of finance opportunities for students seeking hands-on experience that are currently enrolled in a four-year degree program. Students work with experienced members of these functional teams.As a finance intern you will have the opportunity to shadow and work on tasks related to accounting, forecasting and strategy.Job Responsibilities
  • Assist in SAP cash clearing (FEBAN)
  • Gain understanding of account reconciliations
  • Troubleshoot issues between SAP and the banks
  • Participate in letter of credit and risk analysis
  • The intern will learn SAP general ledger and Treasury Module, OpenC customer service billing system, how credit facilities work and how to analyze credit risk of counter parties
  • Financing – support the long-term debt financing process by preparing offering documents, pro forma financial statements and responding to investor diligence
  • Reporting – support the preparation of debt-related reporting for SEC filings, regulatory and internal management
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, GED, or HSED
  • Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance or Accounting or related major with a graduation date after June 2026
  • Minimum GPA of 2.8
