- Accurately process accounts payable, coding invoices to appropriate expense accounts.
- Prepare journal entries for accruals, prepaids, depreciation, employee expense reimbursements, and credit card statements.
- Balance sheet reconciliation
- Ensure all financial transactions are recorded and organized in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Support payroll operations by gathering and verifying timesheets, reimbursements, and other employee-related expenses.
- Ensure timely payments to vendors.
- Maintain and update vendor records.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including preparing reports and journal entries.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments to resolve invoice-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Training will be conducted in the office from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm ET Monday through Friday
- Production hours will be scheduled Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm ET
- Availability to work should be anytime within this timeframe
- Training and production dates and hours of operation are subject to change
- Currently hiring for a tentative start date of September 22nd, 2025
- Position is full-time
- Reports directly to the Senior Operations Manager
- Pay rate is $18.00 to $20.00 XCD per hour
- College degree or equivalent work experience required; associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.
- Minimum of 3+ years of prior work experience in accounting or related positions required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central accounting software highly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, particularly in MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations.
- Experience with automated accounts payable systems.
