Job Description:Transition Management is responsible for the legal and operational structuring, end to end coordination and integration of all new clients onto the Prime Financial Services (PFS) platform.Job Summary:As a Transition Manager - Vice President for the Prime Financial Services Group, you will deliver a seamless and timely multi-asset class onboarding for our clients, spanning multiple products, including Equity and Fixed Income Prime Brokerage, Futures and Derivatives Clearing, Equity Derivatives and Repo Financing.Job Responsibilities:Client Engagement: Establish and maintain relationships with primary client contacts, such as COOs, CFOs, and Directors. Ensure that client requirements are delivered with a sense of urgency. Lead onboarding deal team to deliver the firm in an integrated and seamless way to our clients during the onboarding process. Show flexibility to manage a varied client base including Alternatives, Banks, Asset Managers, and Pension Funds.Product Structuring: Understand the commercial and risk asks of a client from a new launch perspective. Translate a client strategy and structure along with their margin and financing needs to the relevant J.P. Morgan products and legal entities. Coordinate with Sales, Margin Trading, and Account Management to identify and deliver business solutions to our clients. Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the PFS product suite with an expectation to consultatively work with clients from a pre and post go-live perspective.Project and Stakeholder Management: Direct the delivery of a client onboarding through go-live. Proactively provide updates to our clients and J.P. Morgan stakeholders on transition status. Serve as initial point of escalation internally and for our clients, showing the ability to self-solve and question the status quo.Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • 7+ years in a client facing role within the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of the alternatives and institutional client landscape, with insight into the financing and clearing products each may use as part of their strategies
  • Strong ability to build meaningful relationships with both clients and internal partner groups
  • Solution oriented with excellent project management and organizational skills; demonstrated ability to prioritize, multi-task and deliver within tight and changeable timeframes
  • Show the willingness and innovation to improve processes and knowhow within the group inclusive of technology integration and automation
  • Confident, driven, proactive and detail oriented self-starter with strong communication skills; proven ability to work in an independent manner but also identify potential issues and escalate when required
  • Inquisitive, analytical and investigative; able to follow through on all aspects of complicated workflows with a hands-on approach
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • FINRA Series 7 registered or to be obtained shortly after hire
  • Knowledge of the regulatory and product landscape is beneficial
