To be considered for a position with the Florida Department of Health, Division of Medical Quality Assurance, Bureau of Operations:

- Serve as the primary purchasing point of contact for the unit.
- Initiate and manage purchase requisitions, ensuring compliance with departmental guidelines.
- Coordinate with program staff to gather specifications and documentation for purchases.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and vendor communications.
- Process invoices related to purchasing and services.
- Support meeting planning logistics for assigned boards or events (small-to medium scope).
- Coordinate with vendors for services related to events (e.g., venues, interpreters, security, court reporters).
- Provide cross-functional administrative support as needed.
- Understand procurement processes and documentation.
- Familiarity with My Florida Market Place/Ariba on Demand, POs, and vendor Relations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, Access.
- Comfortable navigating Windows OS, file management, and shared drives.
- Have strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Must show high attention to detail and can juggle multiple priorities.
- Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills
- Must have a strong foundation in state purchasing processes, requisitions, and vendor Coordination.
- Have exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- The ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet critical deadlines.
