- Lead financial oversight initiatives including pharmacy inventory control, billing, invoice processing, cost containment, and contract negotiations.
- Maintain and optimize the pharmacy charge master for accuracy and efficiency.
- Oversee the 340B Drug Pricing Program across all entities and contract pharmacies, ensuring compliance with HRSA regulations.
- Develop and implement policies aligned with evolving regulatory requirements to maximize program benefits and safeguards.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop, monitor, and analyze annual operating and capital budgets, supporting strategic financial planning.
- Prepare detailed financial reports, analyze variances, and recommend cost-saving opportunities.
- Oversee pharmacy inventory management and procurement trends for operational efficiencies.
- Conduct compliance audits and monitor regulatory adherence for all pharmacy billing and 340B activities.
- Manage vendor contracts and pharmaceutical rebate processes in partnership with legal and finance teams.
- Supervise and evaluate direct reports, including specialists in inventory, compliance, and data analytics.
- Oversee specialty pharmacy operations and support payor access initiatives as needed.
- Foster continuous process improvements to enhance program integrity and compliance.
- Pharmacist license preferred, though not mandatory.
- Minimum of 3-5 years' experience managing a pharmacy 340B program, with deep knowledge of its legislative, regulatory, and audit requirements.
- Proven expertise in healthcare finance, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
- Familiarity with pharmacy purchasing, inventory management, and vendor contract negotiations.
- Apexus 340B certification is required.
- Bachelors degree in healthcare administration, pharmacy, business, or related field; master's degree preferred.
- Competitive salary range between $170,000 and $225,000, plus bonus eligibility.
