- Plan, create, and schedule content for the website, email, paid digital and other consumer advertising and communication platforms in collaboration with Marketing Manager & Social Media Coordinator
- Ensure all content adheres to compliance guidelines specific to the cannabis industry.
- Update and maintain website content, including blog posts and landing pages, ensuring alignment with SEO best practices.
- Build and send emails and newsletters in collaboration with the Marketing Manager, sales & design teams.
- Track and analyze multi-platform metrics, providing actionable insights to optimize performance.
- Assist in implementing consumer research and gain insights from the social media coordinator for social listening tools to gather audience insights and refine strategies.
- Monitor competitors’ online activity to identify trends, opportunities, and best practices for the cannabis industry.
- Add data to the team KPI tracker and prepare regular performance reports for internal review.
- Work closely with the Marketing Manager, social media coordinator, and design team to develop visually appealing assets that align with brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with retail and event partners to enhance marketing efforts, and engagement strategies.
- Leverage co-branded marketing materials and opportunities fully ensuring alignment with internal campaigns and brand guidelines.
- Support the promotion of Glass Meadows and any brands.
- Develop any ad hoc communications as requested by the Marketing Manager.
- Attend primary operations site visits in Newton, NJ, as well as events, pop-ups, and visits to retail partners across New Jersey as requested.
- Capture and curate on-site content for use across marketing platforms.
- Represent the brand professionally at events, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Collaborate with retail partners to enhance in-store and event engagement efforts.
- Maintain organized records of campaigns, content performance, and community interactions.
- Manage an asset library collaboratively with the Marketing Manager and social media coordinator including marketing decks, photos, videos, and templates.
- Organize and update audience segments, content calendars, and important dates for campaigns and events.
- Ensure consistent implementation of brand voice and messaging across all platforms.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- 1-2 years in marketing, communications, ideally with tools like Google Analytics, Google Ads (AdWords), Google Search Console, Wix, WordPress (website) and Klaviyo (email) or similar platforms.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a college degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is a plus.
- Exceptional organizational abilities, attention to detail, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Preferred (but not required):
- Experience in content creation and basic design.
- Familiarity with the cannabis industry or a genuine enthusiasm to learn about its unique challenges and compliance requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using a content calendar, updating platforms accurately and timely data entry.
- Comfortable working in both office and remote settings, with the ability to attend farm trips, events, pop-ups, and occasional weekend activities as needed.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the capability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A genuine passion for building community and engaging with diverse audiences.
- Maintain ongoing awareness of cannabis industry marketing regulators to ensure all campaigns and content remain compliant.
- Stay current with cannabis marketing trends, competitor activity, and consumer engagement strategies, brining fresh ideas and best practices to team.
- Promote a positive attitude and enthusiasm about the company’s product line.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends for activations and events.
- Use of personal vehicle for travel, as indicated.
- Must be at least 21 years old to comply with state regulations.
- Willingness to undergo background checks, fingerprinting and able to obtain ID badging clearance per New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory Commission (NJ CRC) terms.
