You'll lead a team of 8, reporting directly to the Director of Operations, and play a vital role in shaping field processes, training, and continuous improvement.The Quality Control Manager - Utilities - Clarke County, VA will be responsible for:
Conducting site inspections and quality audits for utility installation (power, telecom, gas)
Ensuring adherence to specifications, standards, and safety regulations (OSHA, NEC, NESC)
Reviewing construction drawings and verifying field execution aligns with design
Creating and managing QC documentation, checklists, and reporting
Training field staff on installation best practices, safety, and quality expectations
Coordinating with PMs, foremen, and subcontractors to resolve field quality issues
Leading root cause analysis and implementing process improvements
Supporting project closeout with as-built documentation and final inspections
