Please visit our website at to learn more about the agency.About the Case Manager PositionPeer Assistance Services seeks an energetic, self-directed, results driven Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner-Board Certified to provide leadership to advance the long-standing Peer Health Assistance Programs. Experience and skill in program management is critical. Staff who make up a broad service-oriented team include credentialed mental health professionals, program managers, coordinators, and case managers. Most staff work remotely, and thus, strategic communication is essential. The individual in this position must be passionate about Peer Assistance Services’ mission.Compensation: $145,000 to $155,000What will you do?
- Direct all peer health program components
- Conversant with the DORA Statement of Work, Business Rules, Standard Operating Procedures, and budget to guide programming and assure compliance
- Knowledgeable regarding statutory language related to peer health assistance programing as outlined in professional practice acts, rules, and policies
- Conduct regular review of content and current law for program materials and documents
- Promote a whole health approach
- Regular communication with PAS Executive Management
- Collaborate with data analyst in report development
- Recurring communication with DORA leadership, program directors, and staff
- Supervise and support direct reports – Clinical Evaluator Manager and Program Manager
- Assure compliance with agency policies and procedures
- Address learning needs of staff related to performing role and functions
- Report to the Board of Directors at the direction of the CEO
- Affiliation with professional/trade organizations, e.g., Colorado Nurses Association, American Nurses Association, American Psychiatric Nurses Association, Colorado Veterinary Medical Association, Colorado Pharmacists Society, Colorado Association of Certified Veterinary Technicians, Colorado Dental Association, Colorado Dental Hygienists Association, Colorado Association of Addiction Professionals, AMERSA
- Development and implementation of Practice Monitor Training in collaboration with professional associations and the Regulatory Boards
- Contribute to recruitment, hiring, and staff retention strategies
- Assists with additional program activities as requested.
- Adult Nurse and Psychiatric Mental Health Practitioner with Board Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center
- Experience with evaluating and diagnosing DSM-5-TR disorders
- Experience with physical assessment and medication review
- Experience managing patients on medications commonly prescribed for physical, mental, and substance use disorders
- Experience managing disruptive or challenging patients/clients and/or colleagues
- Demonstrated experience managing or leading a multidisciplinary team
- Familiarity with Measurement-Based Monitoring
- Detail oriented with strong organizational and leadership skills
- Demonstrated communication, public speaking, and writing skills
- Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Office Suite– Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe and Teams
- Capacity to manage complaints from participants or staff
- Understanding of appropriate access to agency legal counsel
- Understanding of organizational employee assistance programs
- Ability to work as a member of a team to ensure timely completion of deliverables
