If so, this role is perfect for you.As a Vendor and Contract Support Manager within Chase Travel, you will act as a liaison between the business, Global Supplier Services, and vendors. Your responsibilities will include overseeing processes and procedures, promoting a strong control environment, driving process improvements, proposing solutions, collaborating with internal teams, gathering business requirements, reviewing vendor proposals, partnering with Global Supplier Services, negotiating and finalizing contracts, and conducting presentations during business meetings. You will be responsible for the day-to-day oversight and operational management of partners/vendors by closely collaborating with internal and external parties.Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership, direction, and coaching to teams while partnering with key stakeholders, including Technology, Finance, and Sourcing.
  • Build and manage relationships with internal key contacts, ensuring adherence to vendor management requirements and objectives through data collection, requirements gathering, budget validation, contract negotiations, and execution of vendor processes.
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert for all phases of the vendor procurement lifecycle.
  • Partner with and influence clients to ensure legal, risk, compliance, and control requirements are satisfied.
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure performance, compliance, and risk mitigation align with business objectives
  • Analyze potential contract risks and implement strategies to minimize exposure for the organization
  • Produce executive-level communications about programs, including status, risks, issues, and delivery roadmap.
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 7+ years of demonstrated experience in software/hardware professional services sourcing, vendor, partner, or relationship management, technology, or product management.
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Strong competencies in the use of MS Office packages (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable interacting with multiple teams and senior management regularly, partnering with internal stakeholders and external vendors. Proven analytical and strategic thinking skills.
Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:
  • Experience with third-party risk oversight, sourcing, and vendor management.
  • Understanding of banking and departmental procedures, functions, and activities.
  • SharePoint experience.
  • Familiarity with vendor management tools such as Ariba and Beeline.
