Analyzes and documents a variety of microscopic, bacteriologic, immunohematologic and/or chemical diagnostic laboratory tests; conducts advanced tests. Medical Technologist is expected to perform the duties of a Medical Laboratory Technician and a Laboratory Technologist, in addition to the expectations as a Medical Technologist. Duties are performed under the supervision of a Senior Technologist, Laboratory Supervisor/General Specialist, or Laboratory Site Director.REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related field. Also requires MT or MLS (ASCP or NCA) or equivalent certification or the ability to obtain such certification within 1 year of hire.
