Founded in 2004, HX5 is a fast-growing veteran- and woman-owned company with locations nationwide.HX5 is currently seeking an Acquisitions Strategy and Documentation Principal to support the HNI Division at Hanscom Air Force Base in Bedford, MA.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of principles, policies, and practices governing systems acquisition and program management, ensuring compliance with DoDI 5000.02 and statutory/regulatory requirements.
- Leverages deep understanding of DoD and U.S. Air Force roles, relationships, and structures to develop and execute plans that enhance mission capabilities and align with organizational objectives.
- Applies advanced qualitative and quantitative methods to evaluate and optimize the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of acquisition programs, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Monitors cost and schedule baselines, assesses program performance, identifies risks, and recommends solutions or alternative courses of action to ensure program success.
- Produces high-quality acquisition documentation (e.g., briefings, plans, reports) and effectively communicates complex concepts to diverse stakeholders, both orally and in writing.
- Drafts comprehensive acquisition strategies for ACAT I programs, prepares statutory and regulatory reports (e.g., DAES, MAR), and supports program management reviews and IMP/IMS assessments.
- Builds strong relationships with multi-MAJCOM stakeholders and cross-functional teams to counsel on acquisition strategies, identify program requirements, and execute tasks with precision and diplomacy.
- MA/MS degree in related field and 15 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 10 years of which must be in the DoD
- OR BA/BS degree and 20 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 10 of which must be in the DoD
- Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
- Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance by date of hire.
