We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate care professional to join our team and provide meaningful support to a client receiving hospice care at home.Position OverviewWe are looking for a gentle, empathetic, and experienced CNA to provide in-home support for a client who is now receiving end-of-life care following a period of cancer treatment. This part-time role offers the opportunity to bring comfort, dignity, and peace to someone in their final chapter of life.The ideal candidate will have a calm and nurturing presence, with experience in hospice or palliative care. Responsibilities include personal care, companionship, light housekeeping, and emotional support—all delivered with sensitivity, respect, and compassion.If you are someone who understands the importance of presence, quiet strength, and heartfelt connection, we would be honored to hear from you.Primary Responsibilities
- Provide gentle, respectful personal care tailored to the client’s comfort and needs
- Offer companionship and emotional support to both the client and their family
- Assist with daily living activities, including mobility support and hygiene
- Maintain a peaceful and supportive environment in the home
- Collaborate with hospice professionals and family members to ensure continuity of care
- Preferred Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with active license in the state of Virginia
- Experience in hospice, palliative, or end-of-life care preferred
- Compassionate, patient, and emotionally attuned to the needs of clients and families
- Physically able to assist with transfers using gait belts or other mobility aids
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
