POSITION OVERVIEWThis position is for highly organized and customer-centric individuals who have a passion for delivering outstanding results. Previous handyman experience is an asset, but not required - basic construction skills are necessary. This is a great opportunity to develop alongside a fast-growing company.House Doctors is a professional handyman and home improvement service company specializing in both large and small jobs in the Omaha metro and surrounding areas. We are looking for energetic and friendly people who enjoy working on various home improvement and maintenance projects such as repairs, flooring, drywall, carpentry, painting, etc.RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Completing handyman and home improvement projects such as repairs, flooring, drywall, carpentry, painting, assembly, installations, etc.
  • Organizing and managing equipment required to complete daily tasks
  • Working with clients to provide exceptional customer service
  • Representing House Doctors in the local community, and networking with potential customers as needs arise
  • Performing occasional on-the-spot estimates and sales duties
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
  • 2+ years of construction experience
  • Hands on with a knowledge of the principles, techniques, equipment, and supplies used in the handyman industry
  • Ability to learn and operate basic computer programs and systems
  • Friendly personality and committed to great customer service
  • A strong work ethic and highly dependable
  • Able to perform physical labor work including bending, lifting (50+ lbs), and handling tools
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a sales-minded approach to satisfying customers' needs
