- Under limited supervision, architect, size, and design thermal fluid systems and the associated controls for heating, cooling, and ventilation of aircrafts.
- Formulates conceptual design of thermal fluid products or systems developing lower-level requirements to meet customer requirements and business objectives, with emphasis on reliability.
- Develops advanced mathematical models or other methods of computer analysis to develop, evaluate, or modify design, according to customer engineering requirements.
- Performs system level analyses of thermal fluid systems and prepare technical reports of findings and recommendations.
- Use of Model-Based System Engineering methodology and tools.
- Collaborate with customers to establish specifications, performs analysis, and plan performance testing.

- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here:
- Experience with pneumatic and motor driven turbo machinery design, vapor cycle design, or heat exchanger design.
- Experience with Model Based Design engineering and demonstrated proficiency with MATLAB, Simulink, Dymola & Modelon Impact.
- Python, and SysML experience preferred.
- Experience presenting to management and customers and with task detail planning and project execution.
