Bilingual Case ManagerCatholic Social Services (CSS) in partnership with the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) has an opening in a program that provides foster care, treatment and educational services to assist unaccompanied children entering the United States. The successful candidate will be able to work flexible hours. The agency offers paid vacation, sick time, a generous holiday schedule and medical benefits.Essential Functions:
  • Complete initial assessment of the needs of each child.
  • Development of the initial service plan.
  • Screen for trafficking or other concerns and makes referrals as needed.
  • Perform regular monitoring of assigned foster homes to assure the safety and well-being of the children.
  • Work with the foster families to provide them with support in their care of the children.
  • Work with the family or sponsor to help facilitate a safe and timely release.
  • Attend required trainings.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).
  • Previous case management experience.
  • Ability to be flexible, creative and work in a diverse setting.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends.
  • Availability for overnight travel to discharge children from care.
  • Demonstrated written and verbal skills.
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed care.
  • Demonstrated cross-cultural sensitivity.
