And we do it all with heart, each and every day.Position Summary: CVS Pharmacy Inc., a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Woonsocket RI: Sr Software Development Engineer to design and develop enterprise software applications and platforms. Duties include: analyze user needs and develop software solutions to meet business requirements; determine feasibility of solutions design and prepare technical design documentation; upgrade existing software applications and/or systems to improve functionality and features with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability; develop and deploy application components, and support unit testing and bug fixes; participate in AGILE Scrum meetings and/or CI/CD; support applications, systems, and databases used to process prescriptions, claims, and related healthcare activities; and collaborate with crossfunctional teams on applications development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, quality assurance, and software development best practices. Telecommuting available.- Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field and five years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires five (5) years of experience in each of the following:
  • SAP (Systems, applications and products in data processing);
  • Design, customize, configure and testing of FI/CO modules;
  • Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP Financials (focus on FICO Controlling – Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis,
Project System, Results Analysis, Unsettled Costs, Month End Close, Overhead assessment and settlement.)
  • Document functional designs, test cases and results.
  • Agile methodologies or SAFe Software Development Principles;
  • Software development lifecycle (SDLC);
  • Software testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting;
  • Configuration and deploying to production; and
  • User requirements gathering, blueprinting & documentation designs experience.
Pay Range: $147680.00/year to $180000.00/year.This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
