Overview:FRONTEND SOFTWARE ENGINEER (ERDC):Bowhead seeks a Frontend Software Engineer to support the Engineering Research and Development Center (ERDC) contract located in Vicksburg, MS. The Frontend Software Engineer will to design and implement the user interface for an Autodesk Revit plugin. Responsibilities:
  • Translate application requirements into functional UI/UX solutions for Revit users.
  • Collaborate with backend teams to integrate APIs and ensure real-time data synchronization.
  • Implement responsive designs and optimize performance for large datasets.
  • Conduct code reviews and security audits to maintain quality and compliance.
  • Document UI workflows and support end-user training.
Qualifications:
  • Education: BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 4+ years in frontend development with React and Typescript.
  • Technical Skills:
  • React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3
  • UI/UX design principles and responsive layouts.
  • REST API integration and debugging.
  • Git source control (branching, merging, conflict resolution).
  • Certifications: CompTIA Security+ required.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability.
  • Tools: Microsoft Office Suite (intermediate to advanced)
Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
  • Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Public Trust level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Public Trust clearance at this location.#LI-KC1
