Join us on this meaningful journey where your skills, compassion, and dedication will make a remarkable difference in the lives of those we serve.Department/Unit SummaryDuties:Assists with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management. Performs and oversees scheduling, staff development, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations. Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies.Assesses the quality of patient care delivered and coordinates patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments. May provide patient care when necessary.Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.Manage the work of others, including planning, assigning, scheduling and reviewing work, ensures quality standards. Responsible for hiring, terminating, training and developing, reviewing performance and administering corrective action for staff.How you'll contributeYou'll make an impact by utilizing your specialized plan-of-care intervention and serving as a patient-care innovator. Qualifications and requirements
Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
  • Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
  • ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.
  • One year of experience preferred
  • ASLS certification preferred
