- Provide visionary leadership to the Chief Engineering Office within the AME organization, overseeing independent technical oversight across all product lines and platforms for manufacturing process, equipment, and tooling.
- Develop and refine manufacturing system procedures (MSP) to optimize processes, equipment, and tooling, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Cultivate strong relationships with industry groups and suppliers to keep GEA manufacturing facilities at the forefront of technological advancement, ensuring world-class performance in terms of OEE, assembly yield, TPM, and efficiency.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers, guiding them in areas such as manufacturing process expertise, project execution, standards development, and digital technology implementation.
- Mentor and develop technical talent within the AME organization, identifying areas for growth and implementing strategies to enhance technical capabilities.
- Act as a key expert in Manufacturing Reviews and other strategic processes, collaborating closely with senior leadership to drive innovation and operational effectiveness.
- Spearhead the development and implementation of the Technical Career Path program, nurturing a culture of learning and advancement within the AME team.
- Oversee the evaluation and validation of emerging manufacturing processes and technologies, ensuring that GEA remains at the forefront of innovation and efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or supply chain management.
- Extensive experience in manufacturing leadership roles, with a track record of successfully managing large-scale projects and initiatives.
- Deep understanding of high-volume manufacturing processes, equipment, robotics, and controls, with a focus on driving operational excellence.
- Proven expertise in cap-ex specification and procurement, particularly within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with model-based design information and GD&T principles related to process development.
- Decisive decision-making skills, capable of balancing technical considerations, cost constraints, and quality requirements.
- Experience with new product implementation and product/process development, ideally within the appliance industry.
- Demonstrated ability to drive change and foster consensus in complex organizational environments.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Advanced degrees in engineering, manufacturing, or supply chain management.
- Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt (MBB) Certification.
