Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. This position requires driving as part of your daily duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. You will be expected to communicate clearly and professionally, respond promptly to incidents, and work collaboratively with others to support a welcoming and secure atmosphere. Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, site personnel, and/or emergency responders as needed.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to those at the location.
Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
