Vehicle TechnicianResponsibilities
  • Follow daily work priorities set by the team lead using a shared priority sheet and Excel document.
  • Communicate with the team to check emails and setup for the day.
  • Retrieve and manage assigned tickets, placing vehicles in the garage and executing necessary tasks.
  • Rotate through different vehicle groups as needed, with potential for change based on work volume and personal preference.
  • Interact with engineering primarily via email and phone calls, documenting work in detail.
Essential Skills
  • Strong troubleshooting, repair, and diagnosis skills in both electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Experience with vehicle teardown and rebuild processes.
  • Proficiency in using computer programs such as Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Hands-on automotive experience, preferably with dealership tech experience.
  • Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • 2-year Technical Degree in Automotive Technology or a related field preferred.
  • Experience with diagnostic troubleshooting beyond basic tire and oil change services.
  • Familiarity with data acquisition and EV (Electric Vehicle) technology is a plus.
