Job Description Summary This position reports to an Engineer in the Field Assurance Department. This department is responsible for fielding of customer complaints about products. The complaints may come from patients, health care providers including physicians, nurses, or other health care staff. Initiates new or revised documentation and tracks through appropriate approval cycles and implementation2. Provides technical support on failure investigations, complaint evaluations, and quality documents.5. Assists in developing physical and functional test requirements to assure specifications & regulations are met.6. Writes and reviews reports and data.7. Trains on, understands, and follows company procedures and regulatory requirements.8. Participates in and provides input to training on department and division procedures and policies.9. Ability to work independentlyQualificationsMust be currently enrolled in an accredited University/College Science or Engineering program, required.The incumbent must demonstrate the ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the duties and responsibilities.Physical RequirementsThis position is in an office and/or laboratory environment and requires the incumbent to sit, stand and perform general office functions. The incumbent may also be required to lift up to twenty five pounds occasionally. The incumbent may be required to stand for extended periods of time.
