Position SummaryThe Johns Hopkins Director, Regional Safety Field Operations supports all home and community-based service programs of Johns Hopkins, inclusive of the six corporations composing Johns Hopkins Home and Community Based Services (JHHCBS). In addition, this position will have oversight for all off-site locations from Baltimore to Virginia. Along with our long-term investments in our community and support for innovative strategies and interventions, these assets serve a critically important role in keeping our community safe.The JH Director, Regional Safety Field Operations partners with JHHCBS leadership to set the strategy and lead the delivery of all aspects of security for staff members who do not primarily work from an office. This position will report to the Executive Director of Public Safety and deliver all aspects of a well-managed security program focused on remote and in-field work security for remote/field staff policy, remote employee experience, duty of care for remote/in field staff, vendor management, key performance indicators and metrics development, community building among remote and field-based teams, transit security, training support, and engagement with area law enforcement and security resources.Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in security studies, security management, or security technology or related field
  • 7-10+ years of progressively responsible related experience in physical security, security training and education, or security management including 3-5 years of management experience.
  • At least two (2) years of demonstrable Project Management related experience
  • ASIS International Certification (Certified Protection Professional (CPP®), Physical Security Professional (PSP®), or Professional Certified Investigator (PCI®)) preferred
Salary Range: $135,000 per year - $170,000 per year.
