The Business Manager is responsible for managing a complex sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure. Identify potential clients, develop sales strategies, present offerings, negotiate deals, and maintain strong relationships. The Business Manager will drive revenue growth by expanding relationships with the existing client base and identifying and closing new client opportunities.What You'll Do:The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:Client Acquisition● Conduct ongoing market research to identify sales leads and targets.● Create and maintain an adequate pipeline of sales leads to hit sales goals.● Prioritize ongoing sales leads to best achieve revenue goals/quotas.● Attend industry events and trade shows to network and generate leads.Sales Strategy Development● Continuously build knowledge and expertise in the industry and our products/ services.● Analyze market trends and competition to inform sales strategies.● Create a comprehensive, executable sales plan for the assigned territory to achieve revenue goals.● Create and maintain an ongoing “pipeline” of sales leads● Identify key personnel and decision makers at potential sales leads/opportunities and update in Hubspot.● Continuously monitor and guide prospects through the sales process to secure a signed contract.Sales Presentations● Secure meetings as needed with key personnel and decision-makers at potential sales opportunities.● Conduct compelling presentations and demos of the DEMS/IR solutions by understanding their needs and offering solutions.Negotiation and Closing● Create and provide quotes within the established process.● Negotiating contracts, terms, and pricing with prospects.● Create and provide “offer letters” to the prospectAdministrative● Provide accurate and regular reports on sales metrics and commitments to management.● Submit monthly expense reports within the prescribed deadlines.● Keep Hubspot up to date with documented contacts and information.● Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall success of the sales team.● Perform other duties as required.What You Bring:● Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is preferred.● 2+ years of direct sales experience (multi-state regional sales). Sales experience in the Public Safety Sector is preferred but not required.● Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate to audiences at different levels (IT, officers, law enforcement leadership, city council, and mayors) by modifying the message/language based on the audience.● Possess a professional presence (communication and appearance) with the ability to build strong relationships and effectively influence stakeholders● Must have effective listening skills with a proactive client service focus.● Experience in market analysis to inform sales strategies and stay informed on industry trends is preferred.● Ability to prospect new sales opportunities and build a pipeline of potential clients.● Experience with lengthy sales cycles.● Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently, prioritize, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • ● Ability to read and understand contract terms and pricing models is preferred.
● Familiarity with CRM and lead management software is required.● Strong computer aptitude with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required● Must maintain a valid state driver's license and be insurable on the company’s automobile insurance policy.● Must have the ability to pass and maintain FBI and State Criminal Justice Information Security (CJIS) clearance.● Travel requirement: 70%+ travel (ground and air) including overnight travel.Why join us?
