PharmacistJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced pharmacist to join our team. This role involves a blend of clinical and logistical responsibilities, aimed at ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent patient care.Responsibilities
  • Lead shift huddles and assign roles to technicians.
  • Conduct prescription pre-checks and perform final verifications.
  • Provide patient counseling on medication use and safety.
  • Mentor new staff and facilitate smooth shift transitions.
  • Maintain accurate medication records and patient profiles.
  • Manage inventory and ensure proper medication storage.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and privacy guidelines.
  • Stay current with clinical developments and support student pharmacists.
Essential Skills
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Active state pharmacist license.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with a team.
  • Proficiency in pharmacy software and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience mentoring and training new staff.
  • Ability to manage inventory efficiently.
Work EnvironmentThe work environment offers flexibility with start time options of either 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM or 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. The first half of the shift functions like a retail pharmacy, focusing on handling walk-ins, patient counseling, and standard dispensing. During the second half of the shift, the role transitions to a closed-door mail order facility, concentrating on fulfillment, packaging, and logistics without direct patient interaction.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $55.00 - $62.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
