Explore the opportunities and apply today.This position is part of the Android Software Platform team responsible for development of leading-edge innovative solutions, and carrier customization for mobile devices. Software Program Managers are responsible for owning quarterly release content and individual software development projects which includes end-to-end planning, tracking progress and risks, and reporting. They ensure adherence to solid development practices. Additionally, they drive improvements in quality and performance, defect issue resolution, and work closely with cross-functional product teams to deliver high quality, customer-centric Android devices.Some examples of things we are working on:··RESPONSIBILITIES·End to end program management of AI, ecosystem, cloud-based services, and monetization projects utilizing both agile and waterfall development models.·Use project management tools (like Smartsheet, MS Project) to collaborate with product development managers, UI/UX, and development teams to create detailed project plans.·Schedule development and critical path analysis.·Ability to concisely present project status to senior management.·Track project progress to meet project milestones and drive to completion.·Identify and mitigate project risks by leading resolution to dependencies or issues.
