Retail AssociateLocation: Mentor, OHSchedule: 8:00AM-5:00PM Thursday & Friday, 8:00AM-3:00PM SaturdayHourly Rate: $17.50Join our team as a Retail Associate and help create an unforgettable customer experience in our retail seafood and specialty market! We’re looking for a friendly, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys providing top-notch service—both in-store and curbside.What You'll Do
  • Provide exceptional customer service at the market counter and curbside
  • Prep, cut, and label fresh and frozen seafood products
  • Manage orders, scales, pricing, and credit card machines
  • Monitor stock levels, maintain displays, and place daily orders
  • Ensure food safety, product freshness, and proper sanitation
  • Assist with demos, cooking classes, and seasonal prepared foods
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless service

  • Strong multitasking and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
  • Comfort using scales, registers, and following food safety standards
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30lbs
  • Availability to work some weekends and seasonal shifts
Bonus Skills (Not Required)
  • Experience in food retail, seafood, or deli environments
  • Familiarity with labeling systems and POS equipment
  • Interest in cooking, food demos, or recipe sharing
