We are seeking an experienced Material Handler for a direct hire opportunity in Hebron, KYThis position offers full benefits including PTO, Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance, 401K and more!Pay: $19-21/h (depending on experience)Shift: 1st (6;30 am to 3 pm). Weekly overtime available!Overview:The “Material Handler” will be responsible for all materials replenishment requirements which will include the staging of raw materials and foam stacking blocks at point of use, the transfers of parts and other components.Responsibilities for Material Handler:
  • Maximize efficiency at each work center by moving materials, WIP, foam blocks, and finished goods into and out of work centers and departments.
  • Anticipate and understand material requirements for the daily production shift for cutting and punching work centers is staged in the appropriate/designated area(s) prior to shift start.
  • Maintain organization of the parts used in assembly work centers as the mix of parts changes. Duties include re-arranging and re-labeling of bins, storage racks, and shelving.
  • Manage the Visual Management System
  • Compare system to physical quantities and communicate discrepancies to Master Scheduler.
Qualifications for Material Handler:
  • 2-5 years of Material Handling, Water Spider (or lean manufacturing ) experience highly preferred
  • Ability to operate pallet jack
  • Computer literate
  • High School Diploma/GED preferred
