- Support the Clinical Medicine I, II, and III courses through instructional and academic activities, as assigned.
- Contribute to additional teaching or academic responsibilities within the Program, Department, or College, as assigned by the Program Director.
- Provide academic support and advising to students.
- Participate in admissions processes, including applicant interviews and file review, as appropriate.
- Serve on Program, Department, or College committees as assigned.
- Participate in community service initiatives as assigned.
- Attend and contribute to regular Program, Department, and College meetings.
- Demonstrate a willingness to engage in scholarly activity as appropriate to the role and appointment.
- Graduate of an ARC-PA accredited PA program or related accredited healthcare program. Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or equivalent based on professional experience.
- Current NCCPA certification (if a PA) and Michigan licensure (or eligibility for licensure).
- Minimum 3 years of full-time clinical experience as a Physician Assistant or comparable healthcare clinician.
- Prior experience in higher education, including teaching, course coordination, or clinical precepting.
- Strong interpersonal and team-based communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a collaborative academic environment.
