Job SummaryThe TEMP Receptionist is responsible for managing the front desk, welcoming visitors, ensuring they sign in upon arrival, answering incoming phone calls, maintaining a clean and organized reception area, and receiving and distributing packages and mail. This role also provides support with various administrative tasks as needed.Responsibilities
- Welcome visitors, assess the purpose of their visit, and direct or escort them appropriately
- Maintain a neat and orderly reception area
- Assist visitors and staff with inquiries
- Issue visitor and parking passes when required
- Create shipping labels for FedEx
- Operate the telephone console to receive incoming messages
- Collect and distribute mail and packages
- Perform clerical and administrative tasks as needed
- Create and type memos and flyers to support company communications and promotions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Prior experience in a receptionist or administrative role preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with basic office software
