Core Responsibilities and Tasks
Follows all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality.
Coordinates team activities sets daily expectations for safety, quality, scheduling, and costing.
Understands established quality standards and performs quality checks per work instructions.
Identifies root causes and trends of issues/problems in work areas, communicates information to support/empower work group and initiates action plan to resolve issues
Coordinates activities for training of team as directed by supervisor, including maintaining training matrix.
Utilizes MS office products to document and track improvements.
Leads by example, mentors, coaches, and teaches
Bend/manipulate air lines, assemble conduit and wiring
Able to build complex machinery representing a variety of product lines
Subject matter expert - must possess knowledge and communication skills to answer inquiries from plant engineers, customers, field service engineers, and other stakeholders.
Enter work hours in ERP system (Currently SAP), if applicable to site
Completes required documentation relative to production and quality
Drives continuous improvement process and conducts daily housekeeping/5S audits to ensure continuous improvement activities.
Update and redline drawings as required
May read and interpret blueprints (product specific)
Maintains equipment and area in a clean safe condition
Take care of internal and external customer needs and expectations
Position Requirements1. FORMAL EDUCATION:Required: High School Diploma or equivalent2.
