
Support and Integration Specialist

- Provide ongoing case management services, including but not limited to, addressing barriers to self-sufficiency and holistic integration, community orientation, counsel, assistance accessing services and public benefits, and support in addressing housing, employment, health care, mental health and education
- Holistically serve immigrant and refugee children and youth alongside their families
- Conduct initial intake to collect demographic data and assess program eligibility
- Develop individualized service plans that reflect participant-identified goals and benchmarks and empower participants to take active roles in achieving their goals
- Offer orientation and coaching related to community resources, healthcare, education, transportation, and other U.S. systems and cultural norms
- Serve as a cultural liaison and advocate for participants within the community and broader systems
- Work closely with other internal service teams (such as employment and ESL) and external service providers to ensure comprehensive service provision
- Collaborate with volunteers, church groups, and interns, delegating appropriate tasks and providing guidance
- Conduct regular participant check-ins via phone, virtual meetings, home visits, or in-office appointments.
- Refer participants to relevant resources and follow up to ensure successful linkage and service outcomes, assist with coordination of appointments as needed
- Establish and maintain positive ongoing partnerships with other local service providers, educational entities, government agencies, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Help gather community input to help inform, evaluate, and design current and new programs
- Provide feedback, insight, and suggestions to further develop our internal systems and programs
- Respond to walk-in requests and provide referrals as needed
- Other related tasks as assigned
- Administrative Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files, documentation, and participant records
- Keep all information updated in WRWW's secure database(s)
- Track outcomes and key metrics as outlined in strategic plan and as required by various grants. Complete all required reports and data entry in a timely manner
- Participate in monitoring, audits, and quality assurance activities
- Monitor progress toward participant goals and conduct case closures when services are complete
- Attend required trainings, staff meetings, and program reviews
- Contribute to maintaining up-to-date internal library of community organizations and agencies to make timely, appropriate referrals
- As assigned, attend external community meetings to network, stay abreast of local developments, and build relationships with community partners and stakeholders

- Proficiency in one or more common immigrant languages highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to work sensitively and effectively in cross-cultural settings, while communicating cross-culturally
- Dependability, flexibility, and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced work environment
- Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain detailed, accurate records
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and problem solve, with excellent follow-through and professionalism
- Basic proficiency with phone, laptop, and standard office equipment functionality
- Ability to work well with diverse groups of people: previous cross-cultural experience required
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass a driving record check
- Knowledge of state and federal benefits system preferred
- Previous experience working with children and youth preferred
- Ability to calmly and effectively evaluate and respond to crises with care and consideration
- Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks and deadlines at one time
- Ability to read and write proficiently in English
- Ability to work well as part of a team and with diverse groups of people
- Flexibility in schedule with occasional evening or weekend hours required
- Intermediate computer knowledge, including MS Office and the ability to learn new programs (previous experience with databases desired)
